Honey
Honey is the sweet, golden-colored by-product of the honeybee. It's a common baking ingredient and natural sweetener. Honey is harvested directly from beehives, and these hives can be built and maintained by beekeepers.

Beekeeping is an art that can be traced back to ancient Egypt. The activity had made it's way to Europe by the beginning of the 17th century, its' production became a commercial commodity during this time.
