Clary Sage

Clary sage is an aromatic herb that, like all species of sage, belongs to the Salvia family. It grows tall and has aromatic, hairy, heart-shaped leaves. The flowers are typically white with a pink or purple blush.

Clary sage is native to southern Europe, and blooms biennially. Because of its strong fragrance it was used as a soothing medicinal property and a treatment for menstrual pains.
