Bugleweed

Bugleweed, also known simply as 'Bugles,' is a genus of plants in the mint family. They are identified by their hairy stems, simple leaves and vibrant flowers of blue, purple, white or pink.

This specific species, Ajuga Reptans, is native to the British Isles, and can be cultivated throughout Europe. It is popular nectar for regional butterflies and it can be used medicinally to treat illnesses of the respiratory tract.
